(Am)[bass line A--E-A-G] (Am)[E-G-F] (F)[F-E] (E7)
(Am)[bass line A--E-A-G] (Am)[E-G-F] (F)[F-E] (E7)
Well, the (Am)little man walked(F) up and d(E7)own,
To find an eatin' place in (Am)town.
He read the menu (F)(hold) through and thro(F)ugh,
To (E7)(hold)see what fifteen cents could do.(E7)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
He (Am)could af(Am/G)ford but (F) one(E) meat(Am)ball. (Am/G) (F) (E7)
He (Am)told that waiter (F) near at (E)hand,
The simple dinner (E7) he had (Am)planned.
The guests were startled, (F)(hold) one and (F)all,
To (E7)(hold)hear that waiter loudly call…
You know, the (Am)little man felt (F) ill at (E)ease,
Said, “Some bread, sir, (E7) if you (Am)please.”
The waiter hollered(F)(hold) down the ha(F)ll,
“You (E7)(hold)gets no bread with one meatball. (E)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
Well, you (Am)gets no (Am/G)bread with (F)one(E) meat(Am)ball.” (Am/G) (F) (E7)
The (Am)little man felt (F)very (E)bad, (E7)
One meatball was all he (Am)had,
And in his dreams he (F)(hold)hears that ca(F)ll,
“You (E7)(hold)gets no bread with one meatball. (E)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) and no spa(E7)ghetti,
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
Well, you (Am)gets no (Am/G)bread with (F)one(E) meat(Am)ball. (Am/G) (F) (E7)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
(Am)One meat(Am/G)ball, (F) (E7)
You (Am)gets no (Am/G)bread with (F)one(E) meat(Am)(hold)ball.” (Am)

Why no free uploads? I cover songs. Register them with the German music rights agency GEMA. They hopefully reimburse the artists. The tax authorities demand that I make (not lose) a little money each year......more
